Privacy Policy
TeckForge tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you process is uploaded or stored on our servers. Details below.
Overview
Last updated: January 2026
TeckForge ("we", "our", "the site") provides free browser-based document, developer, file, image, audio and PDF tools. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the site.
How the tools work
Every tool on TeckForge runs entirely inside your own browser tab using JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you choose a file, type text, or upload a document into a tool, that data is processed locally on your device. It is never transmitted to TeckForge's servers, because TeckForge does not operate a backend server or database for tool processing — there is nothing on our end to send it to. Closing or refreshing the tab clears everything you were working on.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require accounts, sign-ups or logins.
- We do not store the files, text or documents you process with any tool.
- We do not sell or share your content with third parties, because we never receive it.
Information that may be collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics we enable may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited, for the purposes of security, performance monitoring and understanding aggregate usage. This is separate from — and unrelated to — the content you process inside the tools themselves.
Cookies and local storage
TeckForge itself does not use cookies to track you across other sites. Some tools may use your browser's temporary in-memory state to keep a working session (for example, remembering your last input while you adjust an option) — this data lives only in that browser tab and is discarded when you leave or refresh the page. If advertising is enabled on TeckForge (see "Advertising" below), the ad provider sets its own cookies as described in that section.
Advertising
TeckForge may show ads served by Google AdSense to help keep every tool free to use. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and adjust your ad personalization settings, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and adssettings.google.com.
Visitors in the UK, European Economic Area, and Switzerland are shown a cookie-consent notice before any ad-related cookies are set, and can choose to see non-personalized ads instead. You can also opt out of personalized advertising more broadly through optout.aboutads.info or your browser's cookie settings, though doing so does not stop ads from being shown — only their personalization.
Third-party libraries
Tool functionality is powered by open-source JavaScript libraries loaded from a public content delivery network (CDN) at fixed versions. These libraries run locally in your browser once loaded; the CDN provider may log basic request metadata (such as your IP address) as part of normal web infrastructure operation, in the same way any website asset request works.
Children's privacy
TeckForge is a general-purpose utility site not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
