What does the Split PDF do?
Free PDF splitter — extract specific pages or split a PDF into separate files by page range. No sign-up, no software install, nothing uploaded to a server. It's part of TeckForge's pdf tools collection, sitting alongside related tools you can reach from the sidebar.
How to use the Split PDF
- Open the Split PDF — no account or installation needed.
- Upload the file from your device (or drag and drop it onto the page).
- Let the tool process it, then review the result right there in the browser.
- Download the finished file, ready to use or share.
Tips for getting a good result
- Keep your original document as a backup until you've confirmed the converted or edited file opens correctly in the app you plan to use it in.
- If a very large document feels slow, closing other heavy browser tabs frees up memory for the conversion.
- Rename the downloaded file straight away if you're producing several versions, so you don't lose track of which is which.
Frequently asked questions
Is my document stored anywhere?
No — everything happens locally on your device. Nothing you upload is saved on TeckForge's servers.
Is it really free?
Yes, with no sign-up and no watermark added to your output.
Does formatting survive the process?
Standard formatting is preserved wherever the task allows it — always check the preview before downloading, since very unusual formatting can occasionally render differently.
Can I undo a change after downloading?
The tool doesn't overwrite your original file, so you can always re-upload the source and start again with different settings.
